Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home healthcare services, seeks
a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to
join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely
with pediatric patients, providing care and support to help them
achieve their maximum potential at home. Our LVNs play a crucial
role in our patient care teams, working under the supervision of
registered nurses and doctors to administer medications, monitor
patient health, and deliver high-quality nursing care. This role is
ideal for motivated individuals passionate about making a tangible
difference in the lives of patients and their families. Provide
basic medical care under the supervision of registered nurses and
physicians. Monitor patient health and record signs like blood
pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiration. Administer
injections and prescribed medications, ensuring proper dosages and
documenting treatments. Assist patients with daily activities, such
as dressing, bathing, and eating. Educate patients and their
families on health condition management and preventive care
techniques. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and
treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate any
changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare
professional promptly. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of
healthcare protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Proficient in clinical documentation and healthcare software
systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in
the state of employment CPR certification required
