Alpharetta, GA, US JOB SUMMARY -A director is responsible for
executing organizational plans in conformance with the company's
policies and the objectives of senior management. This position is
responsible for the day-to-day functions and management of a team
that processes billing, invoices clients, and collects accounts
receivable. In addition, this position is also responsible for the
accounting and recognition of the revenue associated with billings.
This position reports to the VP of Finance and would also be
responsible for revenue analytics to be provided to all levels of
management. -KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManagement & Departmental
Responsibilities
- Directing department to achieve strategic goals.
- Inspiring and providing guidance to lower-level managers to
assist them in performance improvement and accomplishments of
business objectives.
- Responsible for a strategic function and/or business function
within a department
- Communicates policy and strategy to department employees
- Continual improvement and problem solving
- Upholds all policies and procedures, company culture and values
-Functional Responsibilities
- Managing a revenue team who administers monthly invoicing from
raw data to customer billing
- Accounting for revenues according to ASC guidelines for revenue
recognition
- Administering set up and ongoing maintenance of new clients
within a complex set of products with various billing
structures/systems
- Production of revenue analytics for all levels of management
-PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING -Proper accounting and
revenue recognition for all products and services
- Management of internal billing systems, process flow, and
output
- Complete and correct customer invoices within the monthly
billing cycle
- Effective management of a large team -
- Collection of AR within set KPIs.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation &
Certifications:Experience or equivalent to a 4-year college
degreeExperience:Minimum 5-7 years -Required Skills:
- Strong business and financial acumen with analytical,
troubleshooting, and project management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills including experience
in change management
- Experience with complex modern billing systems and a complex
set of products and billing structures
- Knowledge of ASC guidelines and their applications
- Experience with implementing and/or changing internal controls,
processes, and best practices
- Experience with a wide range of billing types including
contract based, usage-based, project based, time and materials,
consumables, third-party pass through, recurring and
non-recurring.
- Experience working with databasesRELATIONSHIP BUILDINGRequires
regular contact both inside and outside the company at all
organizational levels, and involves considerable tact, discretion
and persuasion in order to obtain willing action and
consent.DECISION MAKINGRequires the ability to work independently
towards general results and to devise new methods and meet new

The pay range for this position is $100,000-$110,000 per year; base
pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
