Job Description:
This position assists and participate in the day-to-day
accounting duties of Hereford Ethanol Partners in regard to ethanol
and co-product manufacturing. -The position requires tremendous
attention to detail in interfacing with operations and accounting
departments and will help maintain daily, monthly, and annual
accounting reports. - This position reports to the Plant Controller
and may at times work in conjunction with other managers and
executives.Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Assist with reviewing and processing
chemical PO's/Receipts.Backup communication with producers/end
users and Grain Originator on corn related items.Sorting and coding
invoices correctly and entering details into accounting systems.
Back up Accounts Receivable duties.Collecting and maintaining W-9,
1099 and other documentation for vendorsSupport/Backup weekly
forecasting, monthly Journal Entries, month end
close/reporting.Assist Plant Controller with State Filings, motor
fuels, feed tax, etc.Assist with Month End reports. Assist with
sales/purchase contract entry.Daily analyzing of production and
commodity consumption Daily Feedstock purchases and settlements
-Qualifications:
Two-year accounting/business degree
or 3-5 years accounting experience preferred.OrganizedAccurate data
entry skillsExcellent phone and verbal skillsDetail - oriented
Ability to handle multiple tasks.Strong analytical
skills.Proficient Microsoft Office software skillsAccounting
Software experience preferred. -Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to meet physical demands of the job includes but is not
limited to frequent sitting, standing, frequent computer use,
frequent telephone use, some lifting or moving up to 30 lbs. -To
