Job Description Job Description Lead Manufacturing Engineer As a
Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be critical in optimizing
machining processes, improving machine and operator efficiency, and
supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work in a
dynamic environment that values innovation, safety, and
collaboration. Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Salary:
Competitive based on experience. Relocation assistance available
within the US. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an
accredited institution. Experience: At least 4 years of engineering
experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills and Abilities:
Experience with CNC programming, tooling, methods development, and
fixture design. Proficiency with SAP and statistical controls.
Knowledge of plating, painting, and assembly finish applications.
Spanish/English bilingual skills. Understanding of PLC/CNC
programming, GD&T, and Lean manufacturing principles. Strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication
skills—ability to convey complex information clearly. Duties and
Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for
higher efficiency and product quality. Create/modify CNC programs
using Mastercam, Siemens, Fanuc, or similar platforms. Select
tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions to enhance
manufacturing performance. Troubleshoot machining issues related to
tooling, programming, and equipment. Collaborate with production,
design, and quality teams for manufacturability and NPI support.
Analyze cycle times, tooling lifespan, and machining parameters to
boost cost efficiency. Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous
improvement initiatives. Plan and execute capital improvement
projects (e.g., equipment upgrades). Maintain up-to-date
documentation for manufacturing processes and SOPs. Improve site
capabilities, safety, and utilization through cross-functional
collaboration. Use change management and project management skills
for effective implementation of improvements.
