Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Division is seeking a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will be based at our Amarillo, TX facility. The HR Manager position located in Amarillo TX is the sole HR representative onsite at the manufacturing facility. This position reports directly to the Amarillo Plant Manager. The individuals are responsible to develop, implement and administer Human Resources policies, practices, strategies and services across Amarillo, TX plant. It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential"-- - -and where you can help us reach ours.In this role you will:Administer employee relations policies and procedures that are responsive to the needs of employees and customers as well as compliment the Eaton Leadership AttributesAssess and select talent and train and coach managers on the processMonitor performance management procedures to assure fair and equitable treatment for all employeesInform and train employees of Corporate and Divisional human resources policies and proceduresProvide a resource for all managers and supervisors in the areas of Human Resources including guidance on motivating, counseling, and developing direct and indirect reports, as well we employee performance improvementsRepresent the Company's programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCPDevelop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policyCoordinate training and development programs, including new employee orientation, to meet the needs and objectives of individuals and departmentsAdminister compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through general wage analysis of Amarillo for hourly and merit increases for salaried employees and the OCA (succession planning) processConduct, coordinate and monitor employee meetings and involvement programsPlan, develop and implement employee communication, recognition and motivational programs that enhance the working environment and aid in attracting and retaining superior talent.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we "-- - - as individuals and as a company "-- - - are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited universityMinimum 2 years direct HR work experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipExperience using one or more of CYME, PSCAD, Simulink, or other electromagnetic transient programsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in human resources or an MBA with a human resources concentration/Experience in a manufacturing environmentPHR or SPHR certificationPosition CriteriaCollaborative orientation. The ability to succeed in a highly team-oriented environment.Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with management, employees, customers, and suppliers.
