Job Description:

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking Medical Lab Technicians to join its team in Amarillo, TXJob Duties: - -

• Areas of testing include: hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking. -
• Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
• Manages daily workload within the department -to ensure patient testing is completed timely
• Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient -results and taking corrective action when needed
• Other duties as assignedRequirements: -
  • Must have an Associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science. -
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • ASCP certified or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience
  • Knowledge -of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards
