Overview ** Join the BSA Lab team as a PRN Medical Lab Tech or Medical Technologist today!** BSA Health is an extensive hospital system providing clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the Tri-State area. BSA is acclaimed for its superior quality and customer service. Responsibilities Rotates in the various sections of the clinical laboratory as assigned. The tech performs special procedures as required in a medical laboratory which may include, but is not limited to, hematology, special chemistry, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, serology, and urinalysis. QualificationsSkills & Abilities PreferredMust display good communication (written/verbal) and organizational skillsMust display good interpersonal skills.Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriatelyMust exhibit desire to exemplify the BSA culture, including the BSA Mission, Vision and the BSA Way Experience PreferredNo experience required, but preference may be given to individuals with prior work experience. Education/Certification/LicensesAssociates degree from approved MLT program - PreferredMLT (ASCP) or equivalent registry OR Currently be enrolled in an accredited MLT program - REQUIRED
