Nurse RN - Full Time - Overnight Shift - Amarillo, TXJob Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; performing required health assessments for specified programs; conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing; maintaining OSHA state and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with health promotion education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases; assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.

Experience: 1 plus years experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.

Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic hospital.

Physical Requirements: Includes walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. This will include walking up steps and using ladders. Must be able to respond to any area of the facility in a timely manner .
