Collaborates with the RN to provide a safe environment for the
patients. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence
and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer
groups. PROVISION OF SERVICES Provides direct continual observation
of patients requiring special precautions to ensure a safe
environment during their hospital stay. Sitters are responsible for
remaining with the assigned patient at all times during their
assigned shift. Assists the R.N. to provide an environment
conducive to safety for patients, visitors and employees. Maintains
professional behavior when dealing with issues or conflicts,
utilizing appropriate resources, as needed. The concepts of the
patient centered care delivery model will provide the foundation

Qualifications Physical and Sensory Requirements: Ability to read,
