  Responsibilities For more than 50 years, Northwest Behavioral Health has provided mental health treatment to individuals from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. Located on the campus of Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, we offer behavioral health treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and uniformed service members. Our facility has 6 inpatient units with 106 beds. Additional services we offer include 24 hours a day free behavioral health assessments, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient mental health and substance use programs, clinic-based psychiatry and therapy services. In 2021 additional services added include ECT, virtual reality exposure therapy, bio neurofeedback and CBT-I for insomnia.       • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
