Women's and Children's Clinic (FT Days)--POSITION SUMMARY: The LVN
functions under the supervision of the charge nurse or registered
nurse delegating any tasks within the scope of practice for an LVN.
The LVN is responsible for providing safe, compassionate and
focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable health
care needs, utilizing the principles of continuous quality
improvement in collaboration with other health team members.
Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and
practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer

- Assures provision of care to an assigned patient population,
utilizing the principles of Performance Improvement in
collaboration with other health team members

- LVN currently licensed by the State of Texas
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment
- Minimum of one year experience in hospital setting, prefer 2

- Ability to read, write and converse in English
- Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff,
