Also demonstrates leadership skills, problem solving skills, and collaborative skills to work with other healthcare teams, including utilization management activities and promotion of high-quality cost effective care in a collaborative manner.--Evaluates admissions and hospital's resource utilization for appropriateness and timeliness. Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team to assess or coordinate patient and education needs. • EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s).
• BLS (or obtained during orientation) and maintain certification throughout employment
• Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire; does not require maintaining.
