• Certification Details
• Active NM or compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certification required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • Job Details
  • 13 weeks assignment with minimum 2 years experience current required in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit required; ICU Experience also preferred and a plus.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • Position will float to other areas - most likely ICU - as needed but will only be required to perform skills within scope of practice.
  • Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
  • Traveler must provide current Cardiac Arrhythmia prior to assignment.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.

      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour Varied position.
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends and holidays may be required.
      • 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Traveler will mainly be Med-Surg/Tele but will also have to float to ICU when needed.
        • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.

          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
