Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Obstetrics RN - Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour varied Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the current specialty License: Active nursing license in NM or a compact state Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (BLS and PALS must be from American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross) Must-Have: - Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment - EPIC EMR experience preferred - Ability to pass the BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia) test during the first week Job Description: - Provide exceptional nursing care in the Family Birthing Center, specializing in labor and delivery and mother-baby care - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment - Exhibit flexibility by floating to Maternal-Child Services areas as needed - Accommodate fluctuating shifts to meet department staffing needs - Serve as the first to float within the facility and to other locations within 20 miles - Engage in on-call, weekend, holiday, and floating duties as needed - Participate in orientation during the first week, which includes EPIC training - Maintain professional appearance with required scrubs
