Must obtain PALS, PHTLS, and NRP certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain throughout employmentAdvanced trauma course (one of the following) within 6 months of hire: ATLS Audit, TPATC, ATCN with advanced pathophysiology and skills lab, TNCC with advanced pathophysiology and skills labCFRN or CTRN is required within 2 years of employmentCompletion of NIMS 100 and 200, within one year of hire is required.Live in or be willing to relocate to the region (within 2 hours or less of assigned base)At Apollo, we know that we are all better together, and we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. The Flight Nurse assures provision of care to an assigned patient population in a professional manner, utilizing the critical care process and the principles of continuous Quality Improvement in collaboration with other health team members, including other employees of Apollo MedFlight and the staff of the different EMS services and hospitals served. The Flight Nurse must be ready to perform other responsibilities besides patient care, including but not limited to base specific duties, customer service and performing education duties based on program and community needs.
