Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Shift Hours per Shift:
8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the
state required Certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS required
Must-Have: Trauma experience required Description: The operating
room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties
for operative procedures. The nurse oversees department admissions
to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate
aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and
members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the
patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and
ensures equipment is functional and that supplies/implants are
available. Must reside at least 100 miles away.
