Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over

provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in
Christian love, service and dignity. Responsibilities - Accountable
to assist the RN and surgeon in preparing for surgical procedures,
assist in surgical procedures, and prepare for the next case. - The
scrub technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment
necessary during the surgical procedure. - He/she has an
understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the
needs of the surgeon. - He/she has the necessary knowledge and
ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative
procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile
field. Qualifications Job Requirements: - Current Certification
from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical
Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing
(NCCT) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic
Life Support Certification Preferred Job Requirements: - Previous
ORT/CST experience - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology
program
