Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - Operating room Location: 1501 Coulter Street Amarillo TX USA 79106 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: M-F 1200-08:30 Description: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available.
