qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Canadian, Texas, 79014! About
The Position We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine
Physician for a 6-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. The
assignment begins on July 3, 2025, and involves working 24-hour
shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day. The physician will work
in a Multi-Specialty Clinic that serves as a Trauma Center and
Critical Access Hospital. Responsibilities include managing
emergency cases in an ER with a trauma bay, collaborating with
on-site specialists, and coordinating transfers when necessary.
This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the
initial assignment and the possibility of 48-hour shifts once in
rotation. Job Details: Location: Texas Facility Type:
Multi-Specialty Clinic Start Date: 07/03/2025 LOA: 6 days (with
potential for extension) Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine
Physician Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 AM), with dates on
7/3, 7/4, 7/5, 7/6, 7/28, and 7/31 Responsibilities and Duties: •
Provide emergency medical care in a Trauma Center • Manage patients
in an ER and trauma bay • Collaborate with on-site specialists and
support services • Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level
care facilities when needed • Utilize on-site lab, X-ray, rehab,
PT, and OT services • Perform procedures within the scope of
emergency medicine • Adapt to working 24-hour shifts, with
potential for 48-hour shifts • Utilize Cerner EMR system
efficiently • Maintain compliance with all clinic policies and
procedures Additional Information: • Must be licensed to practice
in Texas • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required •
Experience in rural or critical access hospitals preferred •
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system is beneficial • Comfort with
managing a wide range of emergency cases in a resource-limited
