Job Description:
OBGYN opening in Texas - Located in Borger, TX - 50 miles from
Amarillo - Service area of 25,000 people - Full-time, permanent
opening - Employed position - Texas license & clean history
required - Base Salary & RVU: Range $275,000 - $325,000. RVU Bonus:
RVUs greater than 988 per quarter paid at $34.87 per RVU. -
Physician Professional Dues and Fees: (subject to approval) Texas
Medical or Osteopathic Association dues; Texas medical license
fees, DEA registration costs, and Texas DPS Controlled Substance
registration fees; and specialty board, AMA or sub-specialty
association dues. - Paid Time Off: 20 weekdays per year of time off
work; carryover of days is not allowed. Any time off must be
coordinated with management. The following holidays are not counted
against Physicians maximum number of days off:New Years DayLabor
DayEasterThanksgivingMemorial DayChristmasIndependence Day - CME
Reimbursement: $3,000 per contract year for IRS -allowed CME
expenses, five (five) working weekdays per year (separate from
PTO), subject to approval. Carryover of days or expenses is not
allowed. Time and expenses for specialty certification, specialty
recertification, books and periodicals shall be charged against CME
allowances. - Benefits Provided at Hospitals Expense: professional
liability insurance, long term disability insurance, life insurance
policy (we provide a policy with a maximum of $150,000) - Other
Benefits Available at Physicians Expense: employee health insurance
80/20 (employee pays 20% of premium cost), dependent health
insurance (employee pays premium), dental insurance (employee pays
premium), vision insurance (employee pays premium), supplemental
life insurance, short term disability insurance, retirement plan -
Relocation Allowance: Not to exceed $10,000 - Signing Bonus:
$15,000 (1/3 paid at signing, 1/3 paid upon 1st day on the job, 1/3
90 of employment end of probation ). - Educational Loan
Forgiveness: Not to exceed $1,000 monthly. We are also in a HPSA
designated area. - On-Call Requirement: On-call will be split
equally with second OB/GYN on staff. No extra pay. - Appointed and
Medical Staff Committees, Quality, & Performance Improvement
Involved REQUIRED. This provider is an employee and will be held to
a high standard of conduct. - How many Ob/Gyns on staff? 1 employed
OB/GYN, 1 independent FP w/OB - Will this be an Office Monday thru
Friday, what are the hours: M-F (8-5) clinic - Is call taken in
house or holding a pager: Shared between 1 employed OB/GYNs -
Average Ob/Gyn patients seen per day? 10-15 - Deliveries per year?
250 - How many beds in the facility? 25 bed CAH (7 OB beds) - What
level Nursery? Level I - Where are high risk transferred/How far?
Amarillo, 45 miles - Is there is Anesthesia coverage 24/7, and who
administrates it? Yes, CRNAs (one covers M-F, 7a-3p & a second
provider covers nights & weekends). - What EMR system is used?
NextGen/PM - Do you require any specialty certifications (ie. ACLS,
BLS, NRP)? Yes, NRP - Do you require any specifics for hospital
privileges (X amount of procedures)? Yes, determined by Medical
Executive Committee
