Physical Therapist Location: Amarillo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: TX license (pending acceptable) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Acute care experience - Experience with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and oncology - Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Description: The role involves providing physical therapy services in an acute care setting. Therapists will work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, trauma, and various medical conditions. Daily patient load is typically between 10-12 visits. Team collaboration is essential, as the therapist will work alongside occupational therapy and speech therapy teams. Candidates should possess effective communication and patient management skills. Experience in using Adaptive Devices and knowledge of patient care protocols is required. The facility has a strong focus on rehabilitation outcomes and patient satisfaction.
