Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Amarillo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,628 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Amarillo, Texas, 79106! Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience within the last 6 months Experience in Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic patient care Ability to float to units of equal or lesser acuity Description: This position involves caring for a patient population that includes both medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. Telemetry services are monitored in a centralized unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Patient care technicians and transporters are available to assist. Staffing support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The unit has a daily census of approximately 30 patients. A free floating charge nurse will be present on the unit. Participation in team collaboration and interdisciplinary support is expected. Documentation is done using the EPIC system. The environment is supportive and focused on patient-centered care. Assistance is offered for acquiring NIHSS certification.
