Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Amarillo, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient acute care experience for a Level 3 trauma hospital. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in an acute care hospital PT unit serving a 450-bed facility - Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm - Patient population includes ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op back and neck, med surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, surgical) cases - Therapy services are provided across 7 floors with a daily census of approximately 360 patients - Team includes 8-10 PTs and 6-8 PTAs daily, and works alongside OT, ST, and case management - Uses Epic charting system; Epic experience is preferred - Position does not accept travel pairs or groups - First-time travelers will be considered - A maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved; no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation - Team-oriented environment with daily collaboration across therapy disciplines /n /n Requirements/n - Current TX PT license required; pending license will be considered - Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient acute care physical therapy experience required - Epic charting experience preferred - License required if applicable - Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible - Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-654653.
