Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leading provider of home healthcare and
pediatric therapy services, is seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. This role
focuses on helping patients, primarily in pediatric populations,
achieve their maximum functional capacity and improve their quality
of life through tailored therapy interventions. Working closely
with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement
therapeutic strategies within the patients' homes, delivering care
that adheres to our commitment to personalized health solutions.
Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic activities to aid in the development of the
skills needed for daily living and work. Record patient progress
and adjust treatments as necessary. Advise and equip patients with
adaptive equipment to improve their independence. Coordinate with
other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan.
Educate family members and caregivers on how to accommodate and
care for patients. Strong understanding of occupational therapy
principles, methods, and procedures Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to create effective treatment plans
Adept at handling sensitive situations with compassion Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid state Occupational Therapist license NBCOT Certification CPR
and First Aid certification preferred
