Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to
join our team, focusing on delivering high-quality rehabilitation
services. Our Rehab Therapy Techs play a crucial role in supporting
our therapeutic staff and assisting patients in activities that
promote recovery. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic
environment that values compassion and expertise to help patients
achieve remarkable outcomes. Assist therapists in the preparation
and execution of therapy sessions. Set up and maintain therapy
equipment. Monitor patient responses to treatments and report
outcomes to the therapist. Help in performing patient-related tasks
under the supervision of a licensed therapist, such as range of
motion exercises and mobility training. Maintain clean and
organized work areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized.
Document patient progress and therapy session details. Support
patients emotionally, providing encouragement and assistance
throughout their rehabilitation process. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the
role, including lifting, stooping, and standing for long periods.
Basic knowledge of therapy and rehabilitation principles.
Proficiency in using medical software for documentation. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification
preferred. Certified Rehabilitation Technician (CRT) is a plus.
