No Locals, 50-Mile Travel Radius Description: This unit consists of
a mixture of medical-surgical and intermediate care patients.
Nurse-to-patient ratios will range from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on
the patient assignment. Experience with charge nurse duties
preferred. Patient ratios are consistent during both daytime and
overnight shifts. Previous experience with various patient
populations is beneficial. Skills required include management of
various medical conditions and procedures. Nurses will oversee care
for adults and geriatric patients. Support services available
include IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Nurses are responsible for telemetry monitoring and understanding
of dysrhythmias. Wound care and management of various interventions
is a key responsibility. Continual assessment and management
according to established protocols is expected. Effective
communication and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.
Candidates are expected to have experience using specific
electronic charting systems. All applicants must have a minimum of
two years of nursing experience. Compensation information has been
