Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. This vital role supports our mission to deliver high-quality, post-acute healthcare in settings such as home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and hospice care. Ideal candidates will manage patient care with specific knowledge and experience in bedside nursing, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family intervention. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that focuses on patient outcomes and the promotion of health and independence. Assess patient conditions during visits and chart your observations. Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as needed. Instruct patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures. Coordinate with therapists, physicians, and other clinical professionals to deliver holistic care to the patient. Record patients’ responses and the effectiveness of nursing interventions. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
