Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering exceptional care
focused on home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and hospice care.
This role is pivotal in assisting our patients in their recovery,
helping them overcome serious illnesses or injuries, and supporting
them through their unique paths towards better health. Our
Registered Nurses play a critical role in patient care management,
assessment, planning, and in executing prescribed treatments with
an unwavering commitment to professional standards and patient
satisfaction. Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital signs,
performing physical examinations, and obtaining health history.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement
patient-centered care strategies. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects and
reactions. Prepare, update, and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans,
medications, and lifestyle adjustments. Support patient
independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching
self-management. Participate in continuous improvement of nursing
practices and procedures. Strong clinical skills in a hospital
setting Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and empathy Strong organizational and
time-management skills Proficiency in electronic medical records
systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) preferred
