Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our progressive post-acute healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in our patient-centric approach, utilizing your expertise to provide direct and indirect therapy services to those recovering from various illnesses and injuries. Our focus on inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care allows this position to impact our mission in restoring maximum mobility and contributing to the overall recovery and well-being of our patients. Assess patient conditions through observations, medical history and patient/family interviews Formulate individualized care plans based on patient needs and treatment goals Implement therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as necessary Educate patients and families on post-therapy care and lifestyle adaptations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Maintain patient records and documentation per healthcare regulations and company policies Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and best practices Ability to operate therapeutic equipment and technology Excellent patient management, communication, and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state employed CPR certified Certification in physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) preferred
