Our Physical Therapists play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients who are recuperating from serious illnesses or injuries. As a part of Encompass Health, you will work in a dynamic environment with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation and home health services, dedicated to fostering patient independence and recovery. Assess patient condition by conducting physical examinations; analyzing outcomes; performing evaluations. Develop treatment plans by identifying short and long term goals, and techniques for achieving recovery. Implement new techniques as necessary to aid in patient comfort and recovery. Document patient care services by charting in patient records. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential. Guide and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and aides in patient care. Expert knowledge in physical therapy Ability to handle physical workload Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in use of physical therapy equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certified
