Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team of professional healthcare providers in our inpatient rehabilitation facility. In this role, you will be pivotal in assisting patients recovering from serious injuries or illnesses, by providing top-notch compassionate care, tailored rehabilitation programs, and continuous emotional support. As part of Encompass Health, you will work in an environment dedicated to a collaborative approach, using the latest in healthcare technology and recovery interventions to restore patient health and wellbeing. Assess patient conditions through diligent observation and interaction, updating records and communicating status and changes to the medical team. Implement and adjust care plans based on patient progression and specific recovery goals. Administer medications, maintain IV lines, and monitor vital signs, ensuring the highest patient safety and care standards. Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and health maintenance and recovery, including aftercare and lifestyle changes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate patient progress and refine care plans as needed. Excellent patient care and clinical skills Strong ability to operate medical equipment Proficient in electronic health records Effective communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS/ACLS certification
