Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical/surgical experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Epic charting experience - Experience in a telemetry monitored unit - Charge nurse experience preferred Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical specialty. The nurse will be responsible for the care of adult and geriatric patients. The patient ratio is 6 patients per nurse. The unit emphasizes interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Telemetry is monitored in a centralized unit. A free floating charge nurse and a house discharge nurse are available across departments. Recent Epic experience within the last 6 months is preferred. This is a night shift position with a requirement for 3 shifts per week. No travel experience is required. Travel radius is limited to 50 miles.
