Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to join our dynamic team in providing excellent rehabilitation services. In this role, you will be an integral part of our mission to help patients regain their independence after serious illnesses or injuries. Working in a stimulating environment, you will support licensed therapists by preparing equipment, assisting during therapy sessions, and providing direct patient care under supervision. Your commitment will directly contribute to each patient's journey towards improved health and wellness. Prepare, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas. Assist therapists during patient evaluations and treatments. Perform routine administrative tasks such as updating patient records and scheduling appointments. Provide hands-on assistance to patients as directed by therapists. Follow clinical and administrative protocols with strict compliance. Participate in patient care meetings to discuss therapy progress and strategies. Basic understanding of therapy principles and practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain patient confidentiality. Competence in basic computer tasks and administrative skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification (provided during job training). Completion of a rehabilitation services training program preferred but not required.
