Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to join our dynamic team, assisting in the delivery of superior care focused on home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and hospice care. This role involves supporting our therapists and patients, contributing to the treatment and recovery process, and ensuring the smooth operation of our rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Assist therapists in the preparation and implementation of treatment plans. Set up and maintain therapy equipment. Monitor patient reactions to treatment and communicate findings to the therapist. Help transport patients to and from therapy sessions. Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and stocked with needed supplies. Perform clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records. Basic understanding of therapeutic treatments and techniques appropriate to healthcare rehabilitation. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and maintaining accurate records. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification recommended.
