You are helping shape the culture, the patient experience, and the future of an independent pharmacy that is committed to excellence, compassion, and community impact.This role offers: A predictable Monday–Friday 9–6 schedule No weekends No holidays Greater autonomy and professional respect A patient-centered environment where relationships matter Clinical collaboration with specialty providers in the same building The chance to help build something meaningful from the ground up Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Independent Community Pharmacist at BeeWell Pharmacy, you will play a central role in both patient care and daily pharmacy operations.Responsibilities include: Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, adherence, and wellness strategies Serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients, caregivers, and prescribers Communicate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify orders, resolve therapy issues, and improve outcomes Collaborate with providers in neighboring specialty clinics to support optimal medication therapy Support a safe, efficient, and organized pharmacy workflow Ensure compliance with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, HIPAA, and applicable regulatory requirements Maintain accurate patient profiles, dispensing records, and controlled substance documentation Oversee inventory management, medication storage, expiration monitoring, and procurement processes Help identify opportunities to improve service, workflow, patient satisfaction, and community engagement Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture Support the growth of BeeWell Pharmacy through relationship-building, service excellence, and community trust Required Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy Active Pharmacist license in the State of Texas in good standing Strong working knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and strong commitment to patient safety Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment Passion for community-based care and personalized service Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in independent, community, ambulatory, or retail pharmacy Experience with pharmacy workflow optimization, inventory oversight, and payer/insurance issues Immunization certification or willingness to obtain Experience building relationships with local providers and patients Comfort in a growing entrepreneurial environment where initiative and adaptability are valued Interest in helping shape operations, service lines, and the long-term vision of an independent pharmacy Schedule and Hours Full-Time Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM No weekends No major holidays This role is intentionally structured to support work-life balance and sustainable excellence.Compensation and BenefitsBeeWell Pharmacy is committed to offering a competitive and thoughtful compensation package.
