Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team, focusing
on providing top-tier patient care in our inpatient rehabilitation,
home health, and hospice care services. This role is pivotal in
assisting our patients in their recovery journeys, managing daily
care activities, and ensuring the execution of medical plans as
prescribed by registered nurses and doctors. You will work closely
with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver
compassionate, effective care tailored to the specific needs of our
patients. Monitor patient health and record signs such as vital
signs and symptoms to aid in treatment and recovery. Administer
medications and treatments per doctor's orders, in compliance with
healthcare regulations. Collaborate with registered nurses and
doctors to implement healthcare plans. Provide basic patient care
and treatments, such as dressing wounds, administering medication,
and inserting catheters. Educate patients and their families on
treatment plans at home, including disease management and
prevention. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle
medical equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Compassion and
sensitivity to deal with patients in critical health conditions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current
LPN or LVN license in the state of practice. CPR certification
required.
