Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Amarillo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,208 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Amarillo, Texas, 79106! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience required No locals, 50-mile travel radius Previous charge experience preferred Experience with telemetry preferred Description: This unit cares for a mixture of medical/surgical and intermediate care patients. The nurse-to-patient ratios will range from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on patient assignment each shift. Staffing will include an interdisciplinary support team. Daily census will average 12 patients. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily responsibilities may include the management of various medical conditions, procedures, and equipment. Technical skills required include IV management, telemetry monitoring, and wound care. Required skills also encompass the use of rapid response teams and code teams. Familiarity with charting systems, especially Epic, is necessary. Travel experience is not required, but a minimum of two years of experience is mandatory. The position requires attendance during weekends and possible holiday scheduling. No travel pairs or groups are permitted.
