Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from last 6 months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Former perm staff must be gone 1 year before can return as traveler. - All travelers must be prepared to care for COVID patients if assigned. - Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, and Neuro patient population. - Required Skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Substance Withdrawal, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Med/Surg, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Mood disorders, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Traumatic Brain injury, Peripheral nerve block catheters. Required Credentials: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Special Requests: - No more than 3 RTO days will be auto approved - No RTO on holidays - No travel pairs or groups will be considered. - Block Scheduling: Case by case Shift & Scheduling: - All BSA contracts are 48 hours per week, although not guaranteed. - In the first 8 weeks there cannot be more than 3 days of RTO requested. After those 8 weeks they are flexible. Floating Requirements: - Float Requirement: Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
