Encompass Health is dedicated to helping patients reach their maximum recovery potential. We are currently seeking a Nursing Staffing Coordinator to join our Human Resources & Talent Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare staffing, be passionate about improving patient outcomes, and be adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment. This role requires excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high staffing standards to optimize the quality of care and efficiency in our inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care services. Develop and implement nursing staff deployment strategies for multiple facilities. Manage nurse staffing schedules to ensure optimal staffing coverage according to patient needs and budgetary guidelines. Collaborate with nursing supervisors and department managers to identify staffing needs. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements concerning healthcare staffing. Coordinate with the HR team on initiatives such as retention programs and staff development. Monitor and report on staffing metrics to aid strategic decision-making. Proficient in staffing software and HR systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred. Additional certification in healthcare management or nursing administration is a plus.
