Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our fabrication team. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality welding operations that meet ASME standards while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for precision and team development, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily welding and fabrication operations. Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, and API codes. Review and enforce Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Inspect welds and coordinate with QA/QC for NDT and documentation. Train and evaluate welders on techniques, safety, and code requirements. Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies. Maintain accurate records of welding activities and certifications. Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes. High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of welding and supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and ASME codes. Proficient in reading technical drawings and documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to pass MVR, background check, and drug screen.
