Job Description:

Key Duties/Responsibilities 4:30pm-2:30am This position will rotate general laborer positions including scaler, block handler, and box runner/taper person for breaks and lunches or as directed. Completes tasks for the job that this position is rotating into for a short period of time Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area Performs other related duties as requested Scaler Check and adjust box weights as needed Ensure plastic liners completely and securely cover the completed care prior to taping May conduct box count checks Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and operation. Block Handler Move cases from the pallet to the microwave infeed belt following safe lifting guidelines Remove liner and push the block into position to feed grinder Box Runner/Taper Responsible for keeping patty stackers supplied with boxes Take boxes off of the conveyor and move them to the patty stackers Tape full boxes as needed Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Basic math, language, and reading skills Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly Education and Experience High school diploma preferred Physical Requirements Ability to maintain a single task focus and situational awareness Must be able to move and lift up to 60-pound wooden skid or pallet Able to work in a cold refrigerated environment for up to 10 hours.
