Job Description:

*Nelson-Jameson, Inc. is an essential business and will continue to operate and serve our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic*This position in a small facility, involves miscellaneous duties:I.. Warehouse Person* Help check in and receive load.* Fill out bills of lading and call shippers for pickups and tracers.* Service walk-in customers.* Print orders and pick lists.* Assist with inventory cycle counts.* Assist in keeping facility clean and orderly, including vacuuming and dusting.* Assist with food grade hose assembly when necessary.* Other duties as assignedII. Shipping Clerk* UPS Order Filling* Pick orders in shelf and bulk areas for UPS shipments.* Packing, Processing, Labeling, and Staging UPS Orders* Securely package picked orders* Weigh and attach all necessary shipping papers* Adjust Nelson-Jameson paperwork for UPS charges, etc.* Stage product for pick upBASIC WORK WEEK:Hours: 40 hours/week Which Days? M-F Overtime? If NeededDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of certified truck driving school or equivalentpreferred.Experience: Warehouse, shipping, and truck driving experience preferred.Equipment Use: Forklift, company vehicles, computer, UPS shipping equipment.Talents:Map reading skillsAccuracy with numbers and calculatorAccurate record keeping ability (i.e. log book, bill of lading, mileage reports, etc.)Basic mechanical skillsProblem solving abilitiesMeasurably safe driving skillsKnowledge of current transportation lawsAccurate, efficient, safe workerAble to lift at least 50# on a regular basisAbility to work with computerCustomer service attitude and abilities - phone and personallyEnglish/Spanish language capabilities preferredOther Skills, Abilities, & Qualifications?
