Must successfully complete a skills pretest:
* 100 yd. swim * tread water 1 minute * retrieve 10 lb. brick
from 12 ft. of water
Must complete an Ellis and Associates' Lifeguarding Course.
Applicants must be (18) years of age. Must enjoy swimming.

Must be able to manage employees and lead by example.
Will be required to interpret and explain city swimming pool
policies and procedures to employees and the public.
At least one (1) year of experience in a similar position
working with the public is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
Must maintain lifeguard license requirements during
Must have at least 20/25 corrected or non-corrected vision.
Will work 30-40 hours a week.
Will work varied shifts including Saturday and Sunday hours: 7am
- 9:45 pm from mid April through the end of August.
No more than 5 days off allowed during the summer.
