opportunity.Summary:Establishes discipline with the area of
application development, in terms of strategies, practices and
tools. Support organizational growth and supports individual and
team learning. Provide input to developing project goals and
schedules. Expertise in application development principles,
practices, and tools. Responsible for technical execution of
solution and services.Position: Full-Time and
RemoteResponsibilities:* Participates in mentoring, development,
and evaluation of staff; provides guidance and training to staff. *
Recommends or automates approaches to streamline and integrate
technological processes and/or systems to improve operational
efficiency and effectiveness. * Provides input in implementation
strategies, including capabilities within the team, processes and
methodologies used, etc. * Investigates and learns new
technologies, especially in cloud technology and modern web
development. * Viewed as an expert resource, provides technical
guidance to others. * Responsible for meeting development deadlines
and notifying Solution Manager and Lead Architect of potential
issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfactionDuties:*
Provides project coordination along with PM on development
projects, including assigning workloads, estimating hours, defining
milestones and quality assurance. * Ensures proper SDLC practice
and methodologies (Scrum, source code management, test management,
DevOps) is used on all engagements. * Ensures code is reviewed,
reusable and testable, meeting architectural-design and customer
requirements, accountable for overall code quality. * Create or
review technical designs to ensure appropriate use of technology
and tools. * Review testing plans and help fill in gaps in the
development process. * Supports resolution of production issues,
includes independently completing root-cause analysis and
diagnosis. * Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills:*
Bachelors degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field
* 10+ years of relevant healthcare experience and post-secondary
degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of
education and experience including 5 years of technical leadership.
* Expertise in multiple Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure, .Net,
SQL, SharePoint, Power Platform). * Expertise in programming
languages (C# and SQL required, Java and C++ preferred), as well as
large-system integration patterns (e.g. SOAP/XML, JSON/RESTful
Services, etc). * Experience in development using a Microservices
Architecture * Experience developing, automating, and managing the
software build process using DevOps concepts (Continuous
Integration/Delivery) and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira) * Experience
in employing modern DevOps, Pipelines, GIT repos involving multiple
projects/developers * Practical awareness of web technologies
HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Knockout JS, SOAP Web
Services, REST-- Report writing SSRS- MVC, Angular- MCP Exams- BI
Experience * Good understanding of Agile, Scrum and other
development methodologies * Communicate effectively with management
* Strong Healthcare understanding from both a data and business
perspective * Payer and Provider experience is preferred *
