General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Field Training Lead is a key influencer & executor at the field level focusing on driving connection with newer sales employees, orientating them to their position, and ensuring their utilization of training resources. This role will support training implementation, development, and education of new and existing employees, with a primary focus on sales representatives. They are also charged with promoting best-practices policies and procedures to support division-wide training initiatives while partnering with Wilbur-Ellis L&D, Talent Acquisition, PLOT, and the People & Culture teams.
The role will be held accountable to:

  • Work collaboratively with the Business Partner and Support teams, such as P&C and L&D, as well as field leadership, to create and maintain a culture that develops employees, promotes efficiencies, utilizes technology, and brings a positive impact to employees and customers.
  • Drive and improve key success factors in their focus areas and initiatives within their directed regions.
    Key Success Factors:
    • Oversee training utilization, adoption, and application into day to day
      • Create orientation calendar and ensure connection to resources, scheduling of orientation calls with all key business partners in their area
      • Partnering with employees and managers to track data surrounding training adoption and impact on performance

      • Maintain and store project-level resources, host new employee development calls and any in-person ride-along' s
      • Partner with PLOT to support field participation, and track measurable outcomes to help determine sales success and viability
      • Connection to teams and resources swiftly with measured application and integration to how we work.
      • Track and improve start-date to sales representative ROI to ensure measurables within employee success
      • Partner, advocate, and collaborate with catalyst and upcoming processes or projects to ensure proper adoption and integration into the field
      • Support region-specific communication initiatives, email connection points, and retention efforts designed by P&C
        • Build and maintain key relationships with business partners, sales, operations, and corporate support teams to influence and work towards a common goal of employee-level success.
          Key Skills and Abilities Include:
          • Deep understanding of key success measures for sales, selling techniques, processes, and operational efficiency within sales.
          • Passion for people and helping them succeed through mentoring, coaching, and training.
          • Specific knowledge of the agricultural retail industry and sales practices.
          • Ability to communicate vision and strategy effectively and clearly to a diverse team.
          • Strong collaboration, and mediation skills, with the ability to influence without direct managerial authority.
          • Demonstrated ability to champion safety and regulatory requirements.
          • Communication and technical writing skills are required.
          • Data analytics experience preferred.
          • Ability to define process efficiencies and create resource guides with branded graphics and high usability
          • Ability to travel; approximately 30%.

              Compensation and Benefits:
              • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $73,800 - $98,400. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
