FLSA: Exempt POSITION TITLE: CGA College Support CATEGORY:
Herring Bank LOCATION: Amarillo SHIFT: Monday-Friday Flexible;
typically, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM REPORTS TO: EVP of Business
Development SummaryThe goal of the College Support position is to
schedule and teach Financial Literacy Classes on Campus or
Virtually, and schedule promotional events sponsored by Herring
Bank. The Financial Literacy Curriculum will educate students with
the skills required to make wise financial decision that make a
positive impact for the rest of their adult life. The Financial
Literacy presentation will include a Pre- test and Post- test for
students to complete. Additional campus contacts will be made to
determine if the college has any issues with the Herring Bank
Campus Products, and to determine if there is any additional
Herring Bank Campus Products that could be sold to the college.
Essential DutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable

Schedule Financial Literacy Classes at all college customers once
per year. Pursue Certification resources for the Herring Bank
Financial Literacy curriculum and training material. Schedule
Promotional events on campus to promote the Herring Bank student
checking account and Herring Bank campus products. Maintain campus
contacts and determine if the college may be interested in
additional Herring Bank Products. Attend conferences representing
Herring Bank when required. Must be organized, self-motivated and
team player Ability to operate a personal computer Punctuality and
good attendance are imperative Cross-sell the Bank's other products
and services, referring customers to appropriate staff as
indicated. Foster teamwork in the branch or department to ensure a
positive overall customer experience and positive work environment.
Answer telephones, answers questions and direct callers to the
correct Bank personnel Participate in bank training to enhance
skill set and meet compliance requirements. Assists in answering
telephones, answers questions and direct callers to proper Bank
personnel Exempt - Ability to work 45+ hours a week and complete
tasks assigned. Minimum RequirementsThese specifications are

and Credit checkHigh School Diploma or equivalent + 5 years of
relevant experience. Work related experience should consist of an
in-depth background in accounting, management, sales and/or
supervisory skills. Educational experience, through in-house
training sessions, formal school or financial industry related
curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
Bachelors degree preferred Bilingual (English / Spanish)
communications skills are preferred. Must visit current customers
and cold call potential customers outside the bank: calling the
customer and physically visiting the customers' location and
meeting with potential clients. Basic experience, knowledge and
training in sales or marketing and financial operationactivities,
terminology and products and services, Excellent social and
networking skills to support the community bank image Complete
in-house training based on requirements set up for this position
Proven ability to provide an Excellent Customer Experience Basic
skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word
processing and spreadsheet software. Effective oral, written and
interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common
sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret
documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence,
speak clearly to customers and employees. Effective Time management
skills Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Ability to
work with minimal supervision while performing duties. Ability to
deal with routine problems involving multiple facets and variables.
Must follow company policies, all state and federal laws,
regulations and guidelines Current driver's license and a vehicle
with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the
course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities. The
incumbent must be able to perform this position safely, without
endangering the health or safety to themselves or others. Secondary
DutiesThe position of College Support performs duties specific to
the position and other functions as assigned. Supervisory
ResponsibilitiesThe position of College Support has no supervisory
responsibility. Environment and Physical ActivityThe environment
for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and
comfortable and may include driving a Bank or personal-owned
vehicle approximately 35% of the time which includes exposure to
the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may
include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he
or she is free to move about at will. This position will be
required to be out of the bank at least 25% of the time and must be
able to have the endurance to walk and/or stand for at least 20
minutes due to visiting with customers, potential customers and
conducting periodic inspections. The incumbent in the course of
performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking,
listening, lifting (up to 10 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as
close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted
focus), driving, sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting,
kneeling and reaching. The incumbent for this position may operate
any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machines,
calculator, computer terminal, personal computer and related
printers. Mental DemandsThe incumbent in this position must be able
to accommodate to reading documents or instruments, detailed work,
problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language,
presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical
