As a dedicated, family-owned company, Cacique offers a rewarding environment in which to thrive and grow your career.--Position Summary: Under the direction of the Site Director, the Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The Inventory Manager will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing inventory turnover to support operational objectives and customer satisfaction.----Responsibilities:------------------ Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure accurate and efficient inventory control.-------------------- Responsible for the design and implementation of the cycle count process and procedure, with a goal to maintain inventory accuracy over 99%.-------------------- Supervise and lead a team of inventory specialists, and clerks, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure departmental goals are met.-------------------- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) and ERP system, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.-------------------- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, sales, and finance, to forecast inventory needs, plan replenishment activities, and optimize inventory levels.-------------------- Monitor inventory turnover rates, aging inventory, and obsolescence risks, implementing strategies to minimize excess inventory and maximize inventory efficiency.-------------------- Analyze inventory data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of inventory discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.-------------------- Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, theft, and damage, ensuring compliance with company security policies and procedures.-------------------- Collaborate with vendors and logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and optimize transportation and warehousing costs.-------------------- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.-------------------- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in inventory management, incorporating innovations to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.----"Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time."----Required Experience:------------------ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. -------------------- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or related roles within a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in the food industry.-------------------- Experience implementing a cycle Count Process is critical. -------------------- Professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.----Skills:------------------ Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, inventory management systems, and warehouse operations.-------------------- Proficiency in using WMS, ERP, and inventory management software (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, or Oracle).-------------------- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.-------------------- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.-------------------- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.--At Cacique, eligible teammates receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability, as well as vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, a birthday day off, 401k with company match, and more!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any--other federal, state, or local protected class.
