Physical Therapist Location: Amarillo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,106 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: TX PT license (will accept pending) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Ability to work in an acute care setting Description: Physical Therapist needed for an inpatient/acute care setting. This position involves providing therapy services in a 450-bed hospital. The hospital has a census of approximately 360 patients. The team consists of 8-10 Physical Therapists and 6-8 Physical Therapist Assistants per day. Collaborative work with Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy teams is required. Therapists will manage a variety of patient diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and oncology cases. Experience with diverse patient populations across multiple floors is essential. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with acute care practices. A strong understanding of treatment protocols for post-operative patients is preferred. Therapists must demonstrate effective communication and time management skills. A commitment to patient-centered care is required.
