to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Clovis, New Mexico, 88101! Job
Title: Surgical RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0650-1850 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Two years current experience required in specialty; at least one
13-week previous travel assignment. License: State Nursing License
(Compact State acceptable) Certifications: BLS certification
through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety or
American Red Cross. Must-Have: Must be a team player, flexible, and
accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Description: Utilizes the
nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group
of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective,
patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of
patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes
patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education
